Mediation is a voluntary process, owned by the participants, in which an impartial independent mediator helps parties to resolve a dispute in a safe and confidential environment.

 

The mediator’s role is to manage the process, and help the parties to identify the issues and find potential solutions.    

 

I have a graduate diploma in dispute resolution from Massey University, and have been involved in many mediations over the years, both as an advocate and a mediator.   I have worked primarily in the area of employment, but have also mediated in other business settings.
